  • Footwork and Dribbling Techniques

Footwork and dribbling are essential for navigating tight spaces and beating defenders. Start with simple cone drills: set up 10 cones spaced 1 meter apart and dribble through them using only your right foot for 3 sets. Repeat the drill with your left foot, then combine both feet for a fluid movement.

For more advanced training, practice 1v1 scenarios with a partner for 10 minutes per session to simulate game pressure. Another effective exercise is the "speed gate" drill, where you set up 5-6 gates (two cones spaced 1 meter apart) and dribble through them as quickly as possible. Focus on quick turns, body feints, and close ball control. Dedicate 15-20 minutes daily to these drills to sharpen your dribbling skills and improve your confidence on the ball.
